This has been up on my webcomic site for ages (so forgive the HUGE title and formatting - it was made for that site, not here. I just can't be bothered making it DA friendly... XD) - BUT it's an incentive to read my comic RIGHT? I'll do two tutorial/walkthrough things at the end of each chapter weeks and weeks before I put them up here. The image says it all - these are the basic steps of how I go about drawing a comic page for RC~ not very intensive but I didn't want to be going into all the details of how to structure faces or cleaning up the lineart or something... I'll do those in the future!

Umm... I can't stress how important the "thumbnail" stage is in the comic - I usually thumbnail about ten pages ahead of the part I'm actually drawing so I can finalise the script and the characters actions through a sequence. Some people just focus on one page then go onto the next one - I used to do this and never got any further than 10 pages or so! So give it a go! It needn't be too detailed or anything (just look at the state of mine XD) just enough so you know where you're going and commit yourself to it! No making it up as you go along! Plan plan plan and plan it out some more~ Rome wasn't built in a day and nor are good comics! *preach it baby*
